Vijay's Velayudham is now confirmed to release on the Diwali day . The International rights ( excluding USA & Canada) have been sold to Ayngaran International who are planning to release this in maximum number of  screens in some of the major territories. 

Ayngaran has also reported recently that the film will have a great reach globally as the producers of the film Aascar Productions are planning to release it over 1250 prints worldwide. There has been a very good demand for this film among the youth audiences as well as the family audiences who love actor Vijay to great extent.
