Billa 2 is gearing up for a massive 1200+ print release. The theatres are opening their advanced booking starting tomorrow. Some theatres in Chennai are already sold out for the opening day, Friday. For example, Raaki theatre in Chennai has first show starting at 4am on Friday morning. The physical prints have been shipped out to many overseas locations. Many locations in Dubai, Malaysia and the US are expected to have special premiere show on Thursday night. In the US, Billa 2 will be releasing in more than 50 centers, second highest after Enthiran.

Daily Dose of Teaser Promotions

The production team is gearing up for final days of pre-release promotions to ensure massive opening. There are a number of 10 and 30-second teasers that are getting released everyday. The second teaser released on July 2nd is still the most popular as it draws closer to 1 Million Views on Youtube. It is a significant achievement for a Tamil movie teaser to have created more buzz than an all India Hindi release "Barfi!". It will be seen in the coming days whether the second teaser will be able to push the bar higher for Tamil movies by breaking the record set by the first teaser (2.4 Million views).
