Preview of Aranmanai 2 and Irudhi Suttru

Even as the Rajini Murugan storm is still drawing crowd to the theatres, Aranmanai 2 and Irudhi Suttru are all set to hit the screens on January 29. Check out what to expect from these films.

Aranmanai 2

Sundar C is back with the sequel of horror comedy film, Aranmanai, which was a huge hit in 2014. Aranmanai 2 has Siddharth, Sundar C, Trisha and Hansika in the lead roles. Soori, Vaibhav, Poonam Bajwa, Kovai Sarala and Manobala play pivotal roles in the film, while music is scored by Hiphop Tamizha.

What to expect: A horror comedy film in Sundar C's style, which has comedy in higher proportion.

Irudhi Suttru

It is a comeback of sorts for Madhavan aka Maddy in Kollywood, whose last Tamil release was 4 years ago. Irudhi Suttru is a bilingual, which will release simultaneously release in Tamil and Hindi. Directed by Mani Ratnam's former associate, Sudha Kongara, the movie will showcase Madhavan as a boxing coach. Going by the trailers, Madhavan has toned up his body for the role and he looks fierce as well. Real life boxer Ritika Singh plays Madhavan's student in this film. Under Santhosh Naraynan's music, songs have received rave reviews from the music buffs.
