Saguni is Karthi's Biggest Worldwide Release

While the fans were busy focusing on Billa 2, Saguni has silently made his moves to successfully release on June 22nd and also finding record number of screens in the South to release the movie. Karthi is only 5 films old and Saguni is already gearing up fora massive bilingual release with over 1150 screens (Tamil & Telugu) worldwide, rivaling Vijay, Suriya and Ajith.

Past Tamil movies with wide release (2007 to 2012)

Listed are the number of screen/prints announced for recent movies released in the last few years. It is clear that Karthi has clearly edged past Vijay, Ajith and Suriya in Telugu market as Sakuni has been sold for close to Rs. 10 Crores in Telugu primarily based on Karthi's market pull alone.
