Just pure love...,No lust...! First of all I wanna convey that I'm a 2k kid! there is a very much wrong thought that this film is not for the 2k kids, but I would say thi is a sweet lesson for all the modern people out there. as this era made the word LOVE very unhealthy, this movie again makes us feel the difference between Love and Lust..I know that they did not even wanted to convey a message about the difference between love and lust.. but every modern personality will definitely understand the difference, And this film brings our First Love back to us like a delightful breeze...It brings out that subtle pain and the innocence of the pure love together and it is a pure delight.. There is no mention needed about the director and the technicians they were shown there brilliance in every single frame of the movie... ACTING> Vijay Sethupathy : Simply Rocked it,His facial expressions deserves a separate Oscar Award,He Simply lived the character..!Hats off to you sir!1000 Oscars on the way.. Trisha : Every single person will start loving Trisha After this movie,It was a Georgios and a Realistic performance It's 1000000% sure that Jaanu will be the next level of Jessie simply awesome..! I recommend not to miss this Masterpiece ! (more)

96 - Given the plot (What happens next when two ex-lovers? meet after 22 years at their school reunion), the director could have taken the film in any number of ways, but prem decided to fix it in a path that is genuine and honest. He focused more like portraying the emotions and inner-battle between them after the two meet in the reunion. Prem must be appreciated for maintaining the decency level throughout the film. The actors who played younger versions of Vijay Sethupathi, Trisha and Devadharshini bring some sort of believability, it is through them we could understand the depth of love Ram and Janu had, and it was easy for VJS and Trisha to continue it at ease from the point where they left. The biggest takeaway from the film for me is the imaginative proposal part; Until then i cared only for Ram; how strong Ram had a feel for Janu, his conditions & reactions from initial stages; but it is only after this i felt sorry for Janu. Trisha literally breaks you there. A Stellar performance from both VJS and Trisha. The film is filled with full of Nostalgia memories, if you are an 80's or 90's school kids I assume you might remember how one would play with the remain of chalk powder in the blackboard, right from the chalk powder to Ilayaraja songs, there are n number of such things blended inside the film in the flashback portions. And the film actually connects with everyone for this part - revisiting school, the WhatsApp group - silly conversations and finally the Reunion. There was this dialogue in the film were Trisha asks Vijay Sethupathi: "Enga iruka Ram, romba thooram poitiya?" and his answer to that question is what the whole film is about! 96 - A beautifully crafted film that one should not miss!
