Filmmaker Mohan Raja, elder sibling of Tamil star actor Ravi Mohan has come out in praise of the latest Tamil release Parasakthi, which features his brother in a villain role. In his debut collaboration with writer-director Sudha Kongara, Ravi Mohan has taken the antagonist avatar, playing 'Thirunaadan' to Sivakarthikeyan's 'Chezhiyan' in Parasakthi.

Film critics have agreed that Ravi brings gravitas to his character, and Mohan Raja who has not just directed Ravi Mohan in 6 films, but was also the one who launched his younger brother's acting career, has added, "Lucky to have seen it up close before - the surprises this actor constantly gives! 😍 He's done it BIG again!#ProudSibling Congrats to team #Parasakthi" (sic).

Parasakthi produced by Dawn Pictures is headlined by actor Sivakarthikeyan, whom Mohan Raja directed in the film Velaikkaran (2017). The film is a period action drama set against the Hindi imposition protests that took place in the 1960s in Tamil Nadu.
