Suriya’s upcoming film Suriya 46 (tentative title) has officially wrapped up shooting yesterday. The family drama, written and directed by Telugu filmmaker Venky Atluri, is now set for a May 1, 2026 theatrical release, aligning with the Labour Day weekend.

Produced by Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas, and Srikara Studios, the film stars Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, with Raveena Tandon and Radhika Sarathkumar playing pivotal roles. Earlier, a behind-the-scenes still featuring Mamitha, Radhika, and Raveena from the final schedule had surfaced, indicating the project was in its final stages—now confirmed with the shoot wrap.

With Suriya 46 locking its release date, Suriya’s other big-budget Tamil film Karuppu is now eyeing a release window between January 26 and February 6, 2026, instead of the previously planned Tamil New Year slot. Meanwhile, Suriya 47, directed by Malayalam filmmaker Jithu Madhavan, is also slated to release in 2026, making it a busy and exciting year ahead for the actor.
