A psychological romantic action written and directed by AR Murugadoss, Madhaarasi starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead is set to release in theaters on September 5, 2025. Madharaasi had an audio launch event last Sunday, i.e. August 24, 2025, and now all 9 tracks from the Madharaasi album is out for everyone to listen. 

Two tracks from the Madharaasi album titled Salmbala, and Vazhiyiraen were unveiled as singles before this. Salambala and Vazhiyiraen also have other language versions titled Selvakika (Telugu), Tadappa (Hindi), and Varadhalle (Telugu), Kaise Karu (Hindi) respectively.

From the Madharaasi track list, the new songs Unadhu Enadu is a romantic melody, Usara Uruvi is a sad melancholy, and Thangapoovey is a heart-break number. Rest of the tracks titled Madhaarasi Theme, Animal Instinct, Madharaasi Flow, and Mundinja Thodra that was featured prominently in the Madharaasi trailer, are all theme songs. 

A production venture of Sri Lakshmi Movies, Madharaasi has Anirudh Ravichander for music, and Junglee Music holds the audio rights to the film in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi (Dil Madharaasi), Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
