Fire is a Tamil movie starring actor Balaji Murugadoss, who is best known as the runner up of reality TV show Bigg Boss Tamil Season 4, and the winner of its OTT follow-up Bigg Boss Ultimate. Fire released in theaters on February 14, 2025 marking Valentine's day and is currently on day 6 of its theatrical run.

Recently, Balaji Murugadoss took to X to share two videos, where he was seen indulging motorbike and autorickshaw passers by into reviewing his movie, while he himself was travelling by car. Tagging the Chennai Traffic Police Balaji Murugadoss declared that he is willing to pay the road safety fines on behalf of his audience, who were additionally not wearing helmets. 

The official X account of Chennai Traffic Police replied stating that action was taken against the two motorbike riders, and that a fine of Rs. 10, 000 has been levied on them based on the number plate exposed in Balaji Murugadoss' video.

Fire is written, directed and produced by JSK Sathish Kumar. The movie based on Nagercoil Kasi's exploitation of women, features Balaji Murugadoss as a sociopathic physiotherapist who traps and blackmails women, after recording them in compromising positions while keeping his face hidden.
