Actor Sivakarthikeyan celebrates his 40th birthday today, and wishes have been pouring in for the actor from all corners of Tamil social media. One birthday wish that has caught everyone's attention is director Vinayak Chandrasekaran's who made his debut with the Tamil rom-com Good Night (2023).

Ever since Good Night was well received by the Tamil audience, talks of Vinayak Chandrasekaran directing Sivakarthikeyan in his next film has made the rounds. However no official announcements followed. Now that the Good Night film director has shared a still with Sivakarthikeyan at his residence, it is being viewed as a hint for the team-up waiting to happen.

Sivakarthikeyan currently has Madharasi with AR Murugadoss, and Parasakthi with Sudha Kongara in the pipeline, which are releasing as his 24th and 25th film respectively. Sivakarthikeyan's film with director Vinayak Chandrasekaran will be the actor's 26th i.e. SK 26.
