Actor Silambarasan TR is currently awaiting the release of Mani Ratnam directed Thug Life on June 5, 2025, and is also part of an ongoining project, STR 48 (tentative title) with director Desingh Periasamy. Silambarasan will next be teaming up with director Ramkumar Balakrishnan, who made an impressive debut with the Harish Kalyan, MS Bhaskar, Induja Ravichandran starrer Parking (2023). 

STR will be collaborating with “Parking” fame director Ramkumar, film produced by the most happening DAWN PICTURES.

Dawn Pictures, an upcoming production house in Kollywood with films like Idly Kadai (Dhanush), SK 25 (Sivakarthikeyan), in its portfolio, is backing this Silambarasan TR-Ramkumar Balakrishnan movie. Besides Thug Life, and STR 48, Silamabarasan also has one more project with director Ashwath Marimuthu.
