Vanangaan starring Arun Vijay in the lead is a Bala directed Tamil film. The movie's Pongal release plans were officially confirmed on Wednesday, and the Vanagaan release date is January 10, 2025.

Touted to be a revenge thriller with Arun Vijay playing a hearing and speech impaired character, Vanangaan follows Arun Vijay who upon serving jail time for a crime he did not commit, attempts to avenge those who sexually assaulted his sister. 

Vanangaan has Roshni Prakash playing female lead, with Samuthirakani, Mysskin among others in important roles. The technical crew of Vanangaan includes GV Prakash for music, Sam CS for the background score, RB Gurudev for cinematography, Sathish Suriya for edits, Silva for stunts, and  Karthik Netha for lyrics. The movie is a production venture of Suresh Kamatchi's V House Productions, and director Bala's home banner, B Studios.
