Sivakarthikeyan drags Maaveeran producer! Leaves fans in splits

Actor Sivakarthikeyan in basking in the success of his latest release Amaran, and during a video interaction that looks back at this journey that lead to the Rajkumar Periasamy movie, Sivakarthikeyan took a jab at producer Arun Viswa.

 

Arun Viswa's Shanthi Talkies produced Sivakarthikeyan's Maaveeran in 2023, and the producer's post marking 1 year of Maaveeran, was even accompanied by an image of himself and Sivakarthikeyan. Arun Viswa had stated in the post, "Forever grateful to my dear brother @sivakarthikeyan for the trust & opportunity! ❤️" 

 

Seemingly Sivakarthikeyan's friendship with Arun Viswa extends beyond just a transactional producer, actor equation, and the duo are in fact street cricket buddies. Talking about how he spends his downtime, Sivakarthikeyan stated, "I play cricket with the boys even now. You would see videos of it from time to time (on social media). Our Arun Viswa, he has a team. If we call him, he brings a team that by default comes to get beaten by us."

 

Asked if Sivakarthikeyan is that strong of a cricket player, the actor remarked, "No No, Arun Viswa's team is that weak. If he sees this, he will become tensed. I don't know if my team is strong, but we play with a lot of unity. So not just Arun Viswa's team but most teams find us tough to beat. And I like that a lot."
