To say that actress Trisha broke the Tamil internet with a viral elevator selfie with actor Vijay on June 23, 2024 [Sunday], would be an understatement of the decade. Vijay and Trisha, a beloved onscreen couple from the early 2000s reunited after 14+ years on Vijay's movie last year Leo (2023).

Back in March, it was revealed that Trisha makes a special cameo appearance in The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT), which is Vijay's upcoming movie scheduled to release on September 5, 2024. Now it is being said that the reason behind Vijay-Trisha's viral selfie moment, which was shared on Trisha's Instagram and X pages a day after Vijay's 50th birthday, is this cameo appearance in The GOAT. 

It is worth mentioning however that though a bunch of Vijay's other female co-stars like Keerthy Suresh, Rashmika Mandanna, and Malavika Nair had also taken to their social media pages to wish Vijay on his birthday, Trisha's post had garnered attention for the choice of song (Birds of a Feather by Billie Eilish) and lyrics* of the verse added to the Instagram post.

Trisha has previously worked with Venkat Prabhu in Ajith's 50th movie Mankatha (2011), and now she is said to be making an apperance for a song and a combination scene with all actors in The Greatest of All Time, which is also directed by Venkat Prabhu.
