Actors Suriya and Jyotika's production banner 2D Entertainment have announced the title of their next project i.e. actor Karthi's 27th film. Meiyazhagan is the title of Karthi 27, and the movie's first look poster featuring the lead star and actor Arvind Swami is out now.

Cinematographer turned filmmaker C Prem Kumar of 96 (2018) fame is directing Meiyazhagan. Actress Sri Divya plays female lead in this film, which has Govind Vasantha for music.
