[Updated: February 2, 2024] Captain Miller starring Dhanush in the lead is a period actioner that released in theaters for Pongal on January 11, 2024, and later on Republic day i.e. January 26, 2024, in dubbed Telugu version. The movie is now gearing up for a digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video and buzz has it that Captain Miller's OTT release date is February 9, 2024. An official announcement on the same is however awaited.

Set in the 1930s colonial India, Captain Miller follows the story of a once British-India soldier, who is now trying to save his village from the British Army. The movie has story, screenplay, direction by Arun Matheswaran and Telugu dialogues and lyrics by Rakendu Mouli.

Also starring Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, Priyanka Mohan, Aditi Balan among others, Captain Miller comes with a runtime of 157.50 Mins [2 hours 37 minutes 50 seconds], and has GV Prakash for music, Siddhartha Nuni for cinematography, Nagooran for edits and Dhilip Subbarayan for stunts.
