Rajinikanth's Jailer is currently on day 4 of its theatrical run, and among the many records it has broken with its box-office rampage is the one it created with its massive opening overseas. Jailer is the biggest Indian opener of 2023, overtaking Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan with its entire overseas collection.

Jailer's total across across all regions is estimated to have opened with a big $4.8 million (Rs. 39.75 Cr), where as Pathaan this year had opened with $4.6 million.
