Jailer is an upcoming action thriller starring Rajinikanth, Tamannaah Bhatia, Jackie Shroff among others. The movie written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila (remade in Hindi as Good Luck Jerry by Anand L Rai) fame is all set to release in theaters from August 10, 2023 [Thursday], for the Independence day weekend in India.

Jailer's Hindi distribution rights have been acquired by UFO Cine Media Network, and the company will be presenting the Sun Pictures-produced film across India except Southern states. Sun Pictures have also announced that the viral first single Kaavaalaa, composed by Anirudh is also getting a Hindi version release.
