Veeran starring Hip-hop Tamizha Aadhi, Athira Raj, Vinay Rai among others is a super-hero Tamil movie which released in theaters on June 2, 2023. The movie has been doing well in theaters, especially with schools out for the summer and re-opening extended owing to the extreme heat wave in the state's capital. Written and directed by ARK Saravan, Veeran is a story of how a 15 year old village resident Hip-hop attains supernatural abilities of lightning and mind control, and later uses it to save his village from an impending danger. The movie also has music by Hip-hop Tamizha and is produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. Sakthi Film Factory presented the film in theaters.
