Director Mari Selvaraj's upcoming film will be his delayed project with Dhruv Vikram, which was first was announced in December, 2020. A sports biopic on former Kabaddi player and Arjuna awardee P. Ganesan aka Manathi Ganesan, Mari Selvaraj's movie with Dhruv Vikram is all set to begin shooting in August, 2023. 

The latest update we hear is that director Mari Selvaraj has completed all works for his upcoming release Maamannan, and has asked Dhruv to undergo training in Kabbadi. Actor Dhruv Vikram has already started preparations to get into the game for the movie, which aims to wrap shooting in 3-4 months.
