Ponniyin Selvan 2 aka PS 2 is the second film of Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan movies, and PS-2 is gearing up to hit theater screens on April 28, 2023. The movie will have a music and trailer launch on March 29, 2023 which is in 2 days' time, and the makers have now revealed that the event will take place at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium at Chennai. PS 2 audio and trailer launch event will begin at 6 PM this Wednesday.

Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2 album composed by AR Rahman comes with 7 songs, the first of which titled Aga Naga in Tamil is already out. The first single's other language versions were also released simultaneously. 

Starring Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in dual roles, Karthi, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sarathkumar, R. Parthiepan, Prakash Raj, Jayaram among others, Ponniyin Selvan 2 is expected to play out the aftermath of a mutiny against the Cholas, and an unsuccessful attempt at taking a revered prince i.e. the titular character's life.
