3.4 years after first announcing the collaboration, actor Suriya is all set to finally begin shooting with director Siva. Previously we had reported that this film, which is tentatively titled Suriya 42 will go on floors in August, 2022. Latest we hear, Suriya 42 begins shooting on August 22, 2022. 

Suriya 42 is touted to be a joint production venture of Studio Green and UV Productions. An official announcement on the rest of the cast and crew is awaited.
