It has now been officially announced that Ajith's upcoming action thriller Valimai, directed by H. Vinoth of Sathuranga Vettai, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru fame will be hitting theater screens on February 24, 2022. The release date was confirmed by film's producer Boney Kapoor with a new poster. 

Valimai will see Ajith play a cop named Arjun and he will be going in a crusade against Karthikeya Gummakonda. Huma Qureshi plays Ajith's team-mate in the film, which promises to come with a lot of fast-bikes and racing in it.

The movie is co-produced by Zee Studios and its technical crew includes Yuvan Shankar Raja for music, Nirav Shah for cinematography and Vijay Velukutty for edits.
