Yesterday we had reported that Ajith will be joining forces with a female lead he has previously worked with for AK 61, and that the actress is likely be Bollywood's Tabu. Latest we hear, alongside Tabu Ajith 61 makers are also in talks with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for a role in the film. If this casting trio materializes, Ajith will be reuniting with both his Kandukondain Kandukondain co-stars after 22 years. 

Ajith 61/ Ak 61 (tentative title) is actor Ajith's third collaboration with director H. Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor. The film is expected to go on floors in March, 2022 and so far cinematographer Nirav Shah, composers Anirudh, Ghibran have been linked to the movie's technical crew with no official confirmations.
