Director Ranjith Jeyakodi of Puriyatha Puthir (2017) fame is currently helming a PAN Indian film titled Michael starring Sundeep Kishan in the lead. Puriyatha Puthir lead Vijay Sethupathi was roped in for a 'special action role' in the film, and now it has been updated that director Gautham Vasudev Menon has joined the project as the antagonist.

Gautham Menon will face-off between Vijay Sethupathi and Sundeep Kishan in Michael and the first look of his bloodied hand from the movie, was unveiled with the announcement. 

Sree Venkateswara Cinemas in association with Karan C Productions is producing Michael and it is touted to be an intense action drama.
