Jai Bhim produced by and starring Suriya is gearing up for a direct OTT release on Amazon Prime Video. It was officially confirmed today that that the movie will come out on November 2, 2021 (Tuesday).

Directed by TJ Gnanavel, Jai Bhim is a murder mystery that highlights the story of a tribal couple Senggeni and Rajakannu, the latter of whom is arrested on false charges and goes missing from the police station.  Chandru (Suriya), a famous High Court lawyer takes up this challenging case and endeavours to get justice for Senggeni who is on a endless search for her husband.

Suriya's character is based on a real life lawyer of the same name and a true legal battle led by him in 1993, to bring justice for an Irular tribe woman. The movie also stars Rajisha Vijayan, Lijo Mol Jose, Manikandan among others and has Sean Roldan for music.
