Recently actor Kamal Haasan was spotted mentioning in an interview that he is penning a script for Malayalam filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan who has Fahadh Faasil starrers like Malik, C U Soon and Take Off to his credit.

Mahesh Narayanan who was also an editor on Vishwaroopam and Vishwaroopam 2 had reportedly expressed interest to direct Kamal Haasan's upcoming project Thalaivan Irukkindran; and though Kamal did not explicitly mention details of his current script, many are taking it as a confirmation of Mahesh being a part of Thalaivan Irukkindran.

Touted to be a sequel to Kamal Haasan's 1992 hit Thevar Magan, the movie has A.R. Rahman for music. Actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Pooja Kumar, Andreah Jeremiah and Vadivelu have been linked to the project with no official confirmation.
