Silambarasan TR's upcoming movie Maanaadu, which is directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by Suresh Kamatchi is a big budget entertainer that is currently awaiting theatrical release. Buzz is that if movie theaters in the state re-open by then, then Maanaadu plans to make a festival entry during Aayudha Poojai weekend i.e. October 14, 2021. 

Maanaadu has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and also stars  Kalyani Priyadarshan, SJ Suryah, Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekhar, Premgi Amaren and Karunakaran among others.
