Sony Liv, the OTT platform is trying to break big in the Tamil digital scene and currently the company is in talks with atleast 8 Tamil movies for a direct OTT release. Among these movies,  Vijay Sethupathi starrer Kadaisi Vivasayi is said to be confirmed for a direct premiere in July, 2021. 

Thaen is another Tamil movie which is coming to Sony Liv in June, but as a post theatrical release. The list of movies that can be expected to stream on Sony Liv soon are:
