Actors Sivkumar, Suriya, and Karthi met Tamil Nadu's new Chief Minister M.K. Stalin and greeted him as a congratulatory gesture. The film family including actress Jyotika have made a donation of Rs. 1 Cr. towards the CM Corona Relief Fund. 

Suriya had previously donated Rs. 5 Cr. from the sale of his film Soorarai Pottru towards COVID-19 relief (details here). This 1 Cr. towards the CM relief fund is in addition to that amount.
