Naane Varuven, Dhanush's upcoming film with director Selvaraghavan has had two poster releases so far and one of them suggests what has been guessed for a long while i.e. Dhanush will be seen playing the role of a gangster in the movie. Selvaraghavan has hinted constantly that Naane Veruven could be Pudhupettai 2 and now it is being suggested that Dhanush will be seen in Pudhupettai like gangster role in the V Creations production.

The film has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music, Arvind Krishna for cinematography and Prasanna G.K. for the edits. Publicity designer Kabilan recently came under the scanner after one of Naane Varuvan's posters was noticed to have a close resemblance to a English rap album cover.
