Actor Suriya's Soorarai Pottru was one of 2020's best films in Tamil and the biographical-drama which is based on the story of Air Deccan founder G.R. Gopinath will air on Sun TV this Pongal.

The Sudha Kongara directorial which also stars Aparna Balamurali in the lead will make its television premiere on January 14, 2021 (Thursday) at 6;30 PM. 

Soorarai Pottru produced by 2D Entertainment has G.V. Prakash for music. The movie also stars Karunas, Urvashi, Paresh Rawal, Mohan Babu among others.
