The first look of Pa. Ranjith directed boxing drama starring Arya in the lead has been unveiled and the movie has been titled Sarpatta Parambarai. The film features Arya as a backward community boxer from the 90's and is touted to shed spotlight on boxing clubs in North Chennai. 

Arya sports a ripped body in the first look which he is said to have worked extensively on for the last one year. Sharing the first look poster, Pa. Ranjith revealed Area's name in the movie to be 'Kabila'.
