Comedian Soori has turned voice-actor for a Tamil film titled Anbulla Ghilli, where a dog plays the lead role. Soori has dubbed his voice for the golden labrador in the film, who is also an ardent fan of actor Vijay in the movie. TOI quotes Srinath Ramalingam, director of Abulla Ghilli on Soori coming-board as

"Balu sir (Anbulla Ghilli's cinematographer Balasubramaniem) suggested Soori’s name. Many actors would be apprehensive to dub for an animal, but Soori came on board instantly. He saw rushes of the film and really liked it. He also mentioned that when films like Lion King have stars dubbing for animal characters, he was happy to take this up.” 

Interestingly, Anbulla Ghilli has a duet-song featuring the canines and Yuvan Shankar Raja, Andreah Jeremiah have crooned for the number.
