The Indian Film and Television Directors' Association (IFTDA) on Sunday expressed concerned after Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai and actor Anupam Kher's family members tested Coronavirus positive. In an official statement IFTDA president Ashoke Pandit appealed to the film fraternity people to be 'extra cautious' especially while working in film studios or on a set.
The association's official twitter account sent out their official statement writing,

On Sunday morning, Anupam Kher announced that his mother Dulari, actor-brother Raju, sister-in-law Rima and niece Vrinda have tested COVID-19 positive; While his mother is being monitored at a hospital, actor Raju's family is quarantining at home due to the mildness of symptoms.
In Bachchan's family, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the latter two's daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have tested positive for coronavirus. While Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan are being monitored at a hospital, their four bungalows were sanitized and sealed by the local corporation and 30 of their staff members sent to test for COVID-19 [results awaited].
