The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences aka the Oscar board has invited 819 artists and executives from all around the world to join the organization in 2020. Indian artists and executives who made it to the list this year include:

• Hrithik Roshan – Super 30, Jodhaa Akbar (Actor)
• Neeta Lulla – Jodhaa Akbar, Devdas (Costume Desinger)
• Nandini Shrikent – Gully Boy, Life of Pi (Casting Director)
  
• Tess Joseph – Aladdin, Lion (Casting Director)
  
• Amit Madheshiya – The Hour of Lynching, The Cinema Travellers (Documentary)
• Nishtha Jain – Gulabi Gang, Lakshmi and Me (Documentary)
  
• Vishal Anand – Bharat, War (Visual Effects)
  
• Sandeep Kamal – Panipat, Jal (Visual Effects)
  
• V. Senthil Kumar - Qube Digital Cinema (Members-At-Large)
  

Those who accept the membership will have voting privileges at the 93rd Academy Awards which will be held on April 25, 2021. If all 819 invitees accept their invitations this year, it would bring the Oscar board's total membership to 9,412.
