Recently actor Madhavan turned 50 and on occasion of the same, an update on his upcoming film Maara was outed by the film-makers. Maara which will see Madhavan play a man in his 40s has completed 50% of shooting and the team intends on completing the rest in a continuous stretch once filming is allowed.

Touted to be a romantic drama, Maara also stars Shraddha Srinath who falls for Madhavan in the movie despite their age gap. Directed by Dhilip Kumar, the film has Ghibran for music.
