Movie theater owners across the country might be disappointed with the movie but atleast seven films from India (mostly mid-sized movies) have decided to bypass the traditional theatrical run, given the road-bumps they are facing due to Coronavirus pandemic. These movies will be releasing directly on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video and the details of their release dates are listed below:

• Pon Magal Vandhal (Jyotika) - May 29
• Gulabo Sitabo (Amitabh Bachchan, Ayushmann Khurrana) - June 12
• Penguin (Keerthy Suresh) - June 19
• Law (Kannada film) - June 26
• French Briyani (Kannada film) - July 24
• Shakuntala Devi (Vidya Balan) - Yet to be confirmed
• Sufiyum Sujatavum (Jayasurya, Aditi Rao Hydari) -  Yet to be confirmed
