Actor Vijay's son Jason Sanjay who was in the news recently for not being able to return to India due to the Coronavirus pandemic, is in the news again this time for a film. If recent reports are anything to go by then Sanjay will be making his debut as an actor in Kollywood with the Tamil remake of Uppena.

Vijay Sethupathi is producing this Tamil remake along with reprising his villain role from the original and reportedly he had discussed the project with Vijay on the sets of Master. It is worth mentioning here that prior to this, director A.R. Murugadoss had expressed his desire to launch Sanjay but it was said then that Vijay had requested him to wait till his son returns from Canada, where he is studying film-making.
