Lauding India's early efforts into containing the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, Telugu actor Mahesh Babu took to twitter today to shed his point of view on the pandemic. Reminding everyone of today's occasion i.e. World Health Day, Mahesh Babu wrote,

"Two weeks of lockdown and we have been going strong. Hugely appreciate the united efforts of our governments..This #WorldHealthDay, let's take a moment to thank all those on the frontline of our battle against COVID-19 who ensure we remain in good health. 

 

Much respect and admiration for all the brave warriors on the streets and hospitals who've put our lives above theirs during this health crisis. God bless you all.."

The actor who has generously donated huge sums towards the aid of those suffering also said that the real issue in the pandemic is 'people who create panic and fear'. He appealed that in addition to social distancing one should also distance themselves from fear.

World Health Organization has dedicated this year's World Health Day to the workers who've been working non-stop on the COVID-19 response - providing respectful treatment, addressing fears and questions and even collecting clinical data for research and studies.
