After director Bala was replaced in directing Arjun Reddy remake in Tamil and his film which was originally titled Varmaa was scratched, it was reported that the director was looking for a direct OTT release of his version of Adithya Varma. However, now seems like Varmaa is looking at a theatrical release in Singapore for censor reports of the movie in the said country have emerged online.

While Adithya Varma released late last year and opened to decent reviews and box-office, it is to be seen how Bala's version of the movie will impress the Tamil audience. It is worth mentioning here that Varmaa was made with a totally different cast and crew, except for lead Dhruv Vikram and composer Radhan.
