The shooting of Sibiraj's upcoming film Kabadadaari which is the Tamil adaptation of the Kannada film Kavaludaari is inching towards completion. The team is currently canning the climax portions after which a flashback portion, which is the crux of the film, will be shoot. The entire film shoot is expected to be wrapped in two weeks and the makers are planning to release the film in May 2020. 

Sibi essays the role of a traffic cop who takes on a murder investigation that happened 40 years ago. Director Pradeep Krishnamoorthy of 'Sathya' fame who is helming the project is also making his acting debut in the film in a special appearance. Nandita Swetha, Nasser, and Jayaprakash, Suman Ranganath play pivotal roles. Kabadadaari is produced by G. Dhananjayan.
