Bigil and Kaithi which hit the screens on October 25 for Diwali have successfully completed 25 days of theatrical run at the  Box Office. Both the films have emerged as winners at the Box Office. These films have performed well in all the territories at the domestic as well as overseas market. The films hold a sizeable number of screens in their fourth week despite new releases 'Action' and 'Sanga Thamizhan. 

Bigil has raked in Rs. 295 cr worldwide and has emerged as Vijay's career highest grosser. The film has become the highest grossing Tamil film in TN and worldwide this year (2019). The film has raked in Rs. 200 cr at the domestic box office alone. Vijay's film has raked in Rs. 20+ cr  in other south Indian states Kerala, AP / TG and Karnataka and are among the All-Time Top grossers List. Whistle (Telugu version) has become the highest grossing Vijay film in Telugu states. 

Kaithi has emerged as Karthi's career highest grosser by raking in Rs. 100 cr worldwide. The film has crossed Rs. 50 cr mark in TamilNadu. In Telugu states, Kaidhi has crossed Rs. 15+ cr mark and has turned out to be Karthi's highest grossing film in Telugu states. The film performed well in Kerala and Karnataka too. It has been declared a 'blockbuster' in most of the territories in the domestic and overseas markets.
