Thala 60 is expected to be launched officially today with a formal pooja. AK 60 marks Ajith's collaboration with director H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor for the second time after 'Nerkonda Paarvai'. While fans are eagerly waiting for the pooja stills and official updates regarding the film, the latest buzz is that Yuvan has been roped in as the music composer for this project. 

Both Yuvan Shankar Raja and Harris Jayaraj were reportedly the fore runners to score the music for this project. According to industry sources, Yuvan has been firmed up as the music composer. If it turns out to be true, AK 60 will be Yuvan's eighth film with Ajith. The duo have worked together in Deena, Billa, Mankatha, Billa 2, Aegan, Arambam and Nerkonda Paarvai. 

The film touted to be an high-action thriller will see Ajith in a new makeover who is reportedly essaying the role of a cop. Nayanthara is likely to be paired opposite Ajith in the film. However an official announcement is expected to be made by the makers after the pooja.
