Actor Suriya who's been sporting a buzz cut off-late was seen smiling to shutters as his upcoming film Soorarai Pottru wrapped shooting. Photos and videos of the crew celebrating the wrap-up have surfaced on the internet and apparently Suriya, who is also the producer of the movie seems to have presented the technicians who worked on the film with gold coins. 

Touted to be a biographical drama based on Air Deccan founder Captain GR Gopinath, Soorarai Pottru is directed by Sudha Kongara and has Suriya playing Nedumaaran in the movie. Aparna Balamurali plays his wife while actors Jackie Shroff and Mohan Babu play characters named Vinod Rajan and Arjun Shakthivel Swamy respectively. 

G.V. Prakaksh has composed music for this film, which is expected to have a teaser release soon.
