Director Gautham Menon has carved a niche for himself as a potential filmmaker in the Tamil film industry. He is believed to have been facing deep financial troubles and is one of the reasons why his upcoming films like Dhanush starrer ENPT (Enai Noki Payum Thotta) and Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram are yet to see the light of the day.

Menon apart from direction has also backed many projects as a producer as well. However, the last couple of years haven't been good for him as his production house incurred huge losses, his films got postponed multiple times and he hasn't been able to pay remunerations to his actors as well.

According to a report in a leading magazine, Gautham Menon’s financial woes may come to an end as Ishari Ganesh has lend a helping hand to bail him out of his financial troubles. Ganesh’s production house Vels Film International has funded a new project that has been helmed by Gautham Menon. The film will feature Isari Ganesh’s nephew Varun in the lead role. The film has been shot in many locations in Chennai with a teaser being shot in France as well.  

Reportedly, the production house will clear Menon’s outstanding financial debts and also support the director in releasing his films lying in the cans, due to financial issues. If all goes well as planned, Gautham Menon can get back to making classy films enthralling Tamil audience as before.
