After Vaanil Irul, a second single titled Kaalam has been unveiled from Ajith's upcoming film Nerkonda Paarvai and the Yuvan Shankar Raja composition turns out to be an EDM song as promised. The lyric video of the song has been released under Zee Music South's YouTube channel.

Nerkonda Paarvai whic is directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor, is scheduled for a release on August 10, 2019. The movie is the Tamil remake of social thriller Pink and will see Ajith play a lawyer in it.
