Vikram's Kadaram Kondan which is an official remake of the French film À bout portant (Point Blank) also stars Akshara Haasan and Abhi Mehdi Haasan and is directed by Rajesh M Selva. The latest update about the film is that the makers have planned to launch the trailer of the film on July 3rd and the film will have its theatrical release on July 19.

Music is by Ghibran. The film is produced by Raaj Kamal Films International in association with Trident Arts and Muzik247 holds the audio rights of the film.
