The shooting of Vijay's upcoming sports drama Bigil is progressing at a brisk pace and today it was updated that the film has completed 85% of its shooting portions. The Atlee directorial which is aiming for a Diwali release this year will wrap up by July end and will take care of the patchworks the following month. 

AGS Entertainment, producers of the film recently released three posters revealing Vijay's dual roles as well as their names - Bigil (father) and Michael (footballer-son). It was received very well among fans. 

Bigil revolves around the death of Kathir who plays Vijay's friend in the movie and has women's football as a main element. The film also has Nayanthara playing Angel,  Vijay's love interest and has A.R. Rahman for music.
