STR as Gangster, Gautham Karthik as cop in Mufti remake!

 

Over the weekend, it was announced that actors Simbu and Gautham Karthik are teaming up for the first time in a mega-budgeted film to be produced by Studio Green. Reportedly, this film will be a remake of Kannada film, Mufti which starred Shiva Rajkumar as a gang boss providing justice and Sriimurali as the cop who goes undercover to capture this don.
 
In the Tamil version which will be helmed by Mufti director Narthan, Simbu will be seen playing this gangster while Gautham will play the role of the cop. The film which has not been titled yet is expected to go on floors from May 25, 2019 and it is being said that a senior actor will have a crucial role to play in the movie.
 
The confirmed crew of this film so far includes Mufti's cinematographer Naveen Kumar for the camera, Madhan Karky for dialogues and lyrics and twins Anbariv (who are currently fighting their removal from stunt union at court) for the stunts.
